Design Detail: Double Shower

One design trend we're seeing lately is an extension of the double sink vanity: the double showerhead shower! Ideal for those who need (or want!) to share a bathroom, a double showerhead can solve the problem of water hogging and personal temperature preferences in a snap. We've found some pretty gorgeous bathrooms which have included this feature, and we're sharing them here today.

This shower area is clever not only for the use of two showerheads, but also in that the tub is included in the oversized shower area. Placing the tub within the shower threshold solves the age-old issue of dripping on the floor after a hot bath, and is an ideal solution for those who consistently leave pools of water on the bathroom floor.

This shower provides two shelves, two sets of controls and two rainfall showerheads. The sleek design of this shower fits the super modern feel of the showerheads and hardware, while providing a space for each user's shower products keeps things tidy and organized.

This shower again provides separate controls and shower heads, but also features a built-in bench and oversized window. Bathrooms are consistently some of the darkest rooms in houses. Because builders often confuse lack of windows with an addition of privacy, we love seeing homes which find alternative solutions for privacy, and this shower's frosted glass does exactly that.

Lastly, this jaw dropping double shower features showerheads on opposite walls, which means that a single user could enjoy double streams of water - a luxury we are fully in support of! The gorgeous combination of black and white features feels modern and fresh, while in-shower lighting adds the option of ambiance.
